1671 Book Reveals The American Indians

In 1671, John Ogilby published "America: Being the Latest and Most Accurate Description of the New World." Inside its 800-pages are engravings and accounts that reveal a very different picture of dark-skinned, curly-haired Indigenous peoples living in ways Europeans both documented and distorted.
